Everything we publish is written or reviewed by a named member of staff before it goes live.
Sourcing
Claims are attributed. Where we rely on our own testing, we describe the method. Where a figure comes from a company, we say so.
Drafts produced with automated tools enter the system unpublished and are reviewed and edited by a person before publication. Nothing publishes automatically.
Independence
Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over what we cover or how we cover it. A product being commissionable never earns it a recommendation.
Updates
Developing stories are updated in place and carry an updated timestamp. Substantive changes are noted at the foot of the article.
